What to Expect
Before the Session, You will be asked questions about your health history.  We will discuss any concerns and what results you would like to achieve from the session.  Once your needs are determined, I will formulate a unique blend of massage techniques from Swedish, lymphatic, Shiatsu, Jin Shin Do for a deep relaxing, murturing massage specific to your needs. We are ready to begin!

The massage room is dimly lit. Soft music will be playing upon your arrival and throughout the session.  (You are always welcome to bring your own selections of music)  This is your time to enjoy!

You will have privacy to undress and relax.  Lay on the table between the two sheets, face down.  For a full body massage, you are never to undress completely. The only part of your body that is exposed during the massage session is the area being treated.  If you are
uncomfortable with this, we can discuss it before your session. Genitals are never touched or exposed.

Massage is a partnership, your feedback is important! Let me know at any time if you are too cold or too warm.

During the session, occasionally I ask, “How is the pressure?”  If it is uncomfortable at any time, let me know, I will use less pressure.  Massage does not have to hurt to be effective.  If you want more pressure, just let me know and I can apply more pressure.  Everyone is unique.  Different parts of the body tolerate different pressure.  It is important you feel comfortable enough to share your needs.  Remember, this is your time!

After the session, I will leave the room so you can dress in private.  I will have water waiting for you.  We will take a few minutes to discuss your session: likes dislikes, pressure, what to spend more time on or less time during your next session!
After a session it is wise to drink 6-8 glasses of water to help eliminate waste forced from soft muscle tissue to prevent reabsorbtion.
